For this project Hub Foundation proposed performing a load test on a shaft to eliminate the need for the rock sockets. Prior to the start of production, our crew performed 2 load tests to analyze differing rock conditions. This proved to be a great cost savings to the owner. Hub crew went into production with a Soilmec SR75 and a Liebherr LB45. Using sectional casing, we drilled down into the till with casing and finished hole to top of rock. The shafts ranged in depth from roughly 80’-95’.
