At one of the busiest pedestrian intersections in the hospital district, Suffolk tasked Hub with the job of providing a foundation for a pedestrian bridge allowing access from the garage to the main hospital building. The construction site was delineated to maintain traffic and street level pedestrian access at all times. We installed seventeen 70-ton micropiles for the support of the abutment as well as two drilled shafts to support the piers. An additional scope of work for Flett had us install a micropile SOE system along the garage area to pour the abutment concrete.
